Strategy
The AP Capital Growth fund concept was formed following the success that the founders enjoyed working in the property market and other traditional investments over many years. Investing in property projects taught the team to have confidence in an investment that is locked into an asset backed project for a relatively short period of 12-36 months, which appreciates value over the term of the project and then matures resulting in a liquidity event upon completion, unlocking valuable profit.
The founders then developed this theme, instead using alternative investments in the same way to enhance the results of their investment returns.
The AP Capital Growth fund follows this same proven concept but invests in a spread of high-quality alternative investment strategies, that have a proven historical track record of performance. Where possible AP Capital’s investment strategies provide asset or cash backed security to minimise investor risk, investments are non-correlated to each other, and benefit from separate Management Teams and Strategies, further reducing investor risk. The Fund’s investment strategies have synchronised 24-month anniversaries, upon maturity of which there is a liquidity event, enabling investors the choice to either liquidate their investment or roll the investment over into a new 24-month cycle, just like a traditional property project.
Three of the Fund’s four diversified investment strategies provide pre-agreed, fixed income returns to the fund, providing stability and consistent returns for investors, the fourth investment being the “fly-wheel” in the fund. It carries with it a higher level of volatility and risk but also has the potential for much higher returns.
It is now recognised by professional investors that portfolios should hold 15-20% in alternative investments that have a proven track record of consistent solid performance.
AP Capital’s Growth Fund will run in 24-month lock-in cycles, running from 1st August to 31st July. Our next maturity and liquidity event will be 31st July 2024, following on every 24 months.
What We Do
Property Trading
A fixed income investment strategy providing quarterly income payments to the fund. The strategy uses PRS property speculation as its underlying profit generator, boasting a long history of successful performance. Security is provided by way of a legal charge over a significant mature property portfolio and is held by a regulated independent security trustee.
Arbitrage Trading
A fixed income investment strategy providing quarterly income payments to the fund. The strategy utilises arbitrage trading techniques as its underlying profit generator and boasts a 4 year success story of consistent returns using this model. Security is provided by way of legal charge over the assets of the investment manager company and is held by a regulated independent security trustee.
Forex Trading
A fixed income investment strategy providing quarterly income payments to the fund. The strategy utilises currency trading as its underlying profit generator, employing a defensive approach with a 7 year track record of consistent returns. Security is provided by way of a charge over the assets of the investment manager and is held by a regulated independent security trustee.
Crypto Trading
The digital portfolio provides for levered market-neutral returns and is a systematic multi-strategy investment using various trading strategies, some dependent on market conditions. The investment manager and team boast impressive CV’s and actively manage the “flywheel” portfolio.
